The following are a condensed version of Information and Conditions that must be followed by all participants.
Must be sponsored by a Lions Club
Local schools or organized, sponsored youth groups may participate
Any Lions-sponsored youth groups, i.e. LEO Clubs are ineligible
Participant must be part of a sponsored contest in a local school or youth organization
Only original work will be accepted. Photocopies, photographs or other duplications are prohibited.
All entries become the property of Lions Clubs International. No entries will be returned
By entering the contest, participants agree to allow their names, photos and copies of their work to be used for publicity purposes
A grand prize winner is ineligible to receive subsequent prizes in future Peace Poster Contests sponsored by Lions Clubs International
Peace Poster Contest images cannot be used without written permission from Lions Clubs International. Please Note: The grand prize-winning entry and posters earning merit awards may be reprinted at a later date by Lions Clubs International
Lions Clubs International is not responsible for entries damaged, destroyed or lost during the judging process
Participants accept all responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail. Entries sent with insufficient postage will be disqualified
Any entrant missing a deadline during the judging process will be disqualified
Entries not meeting requirements listed will be disqualified
The grand prize and merit award winners will be notified by 1 February 2008
The contest may be cancelled at any time with appropriate notice
The contest is void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges
