There were two clubs that participated in the Peace Poster Contest in the District. On Wednesday November 19, 2008 at the Cabinet Meeting in Richmond, the three judges, VDG Lion Tom Keates, PDG Lion Dave Haines and Lion Bob Fournier had the task of choosing one poster from the 8 that were submitted to represent the District at the MD 'A' Level. There were also 2 runners up. The District Winner, was sponsored by the Pembroke Petawawa Lions Club, the first runner up was sponsored by Vankleek Hill & District Lions Club and the second runner up was sponsored by Pembroke Petawawa Lions. Now is the time to start planning for next years Peace Poster Contest.
